Grace Community Food Pantry’s mission is to involve, educate, and unite people in the work of ending hunger in the Atlanta area. Pantry volunteers will work in different areas to prepare food and pack food to be distributed to our guests who are less fortunate.

Thrift Store Volunteer with Lost-N-Found Youth

Lost-n-Found Youth is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that exists to end homelessness for LGBTQ youth. Volunteer in the Thrift Store with United Way of Greater Atlanta, to support the work being done!

Meal Packing at Open Hand Atlanta

Volunteers are needed to help with client meal packing. Packing involves portioning food into individual containers and snack bags on our packing assembly line.

Clean/Refurbish Bikes with FB4K

Volunteers are needed to help clean, refurbish and prepare bikes at our warehouse in preparation for distribution to youth in need.

Trail Maintenance and Courtyard Cleanup at Frazer Center

The Frazer Center fosters inclusive communities where children and adults, with and without disabilities, gather, learn, and flourish. Volunteers are needed to distribute mulch for trail maintenance as well as to clean up the inner courtyards by weeding, pressure washing, and window cleaning.

Virtual Kick-off/Poverty Simulation

Join us to kick-off our Season of Giving with a Lunch N’ Learn to discover more about United Way of Greater Atlanta and the work being done to transform our communities with the help of our partners. Volunteers will also have a unique opportunity to experience our Virtual Poverty Simulation.

Books for Africa

Books for Africa collects, sorts, ships, and distributes books to students of all ages in Africa. Their goal: to end the book famine in Africa. Volunteers will assist with sorting and packing books according to category and age level.
